Grow a Pet!

Grow a Pet! is a tamagotchi-like farming sim-ish game where you grow yourself a cute plant pet! :) This is a short student project made using p5js and inspired by games like Can Your Pet?, Iron Lung and Growing my Grandpa. Surely nothing will go wrong here! Just a cute little game about growing yourself a pet. :)

To start the game, press the center button on the toy. This will be your selection button. The left button scrolls through your actions (the icons on the top and bottom of your character) to the left, and the right button does the same but scrolls to the right. If you feel stuck, feel free to use the information action (bottom 3rd option) to get hints as to what to do next. Have fun!

I will eventually come back to this project to improve certain aspects of it like having a proper intro/tutorial, cleaning up the code, and improving the pet's design.
